Mary Ann Elizabeth Accardo, 79, of Morris Township, New Jersey, died Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Mary Ann was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Anthony & Adele (Rovelli) Valenti. She grew up in Jersey City, where she attended high school at the Academy of St. Aloysius and later attended Seton Hall University. Mary Ann later lived in East Hanover for two decades, where she raised her family. She lived throughout Morris County for the majority of her life, most recently in Morris Township for the past 13 years.
Mary Ann is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Accardo. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Accardo Jr. and wife Kimberly, and Paul Accardo; a daughter, Arianna Accardo; and her three grandchildren, Alexandra, Matthew, and Christopher Accardo.
For several decades, Mary Ann and her husband Joe owned Treasure Portraits, an east coast family portrait business. She then went on to become a successful real estate professional for the past 10 years.
Mary Ann loved spending time with her family, and was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She had a wide array of interests, including interior design, fashion, and music.
Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Hancliffe Home for Funerals, 222 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary Ann's name can be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, New Jersey, continuing Mary Ann's legacy of compassion for all animals.
