Mrs. Mary Ellen Conner Holt of Scottsburg, VA passed away Saturday, September 27,2025 at her home. She was born January 2,1921 in Halifax County, VA and was 104 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Walter James Conner and the late Fannie Irby Conner and was married to the late Herman Sterling Holt.
She was a member of the Hunting Creek Baptist Church. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Mary Ellen will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 30,2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clinton McKinney officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
