Mary Agnes Farr passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026 at the age of 91. She was a force of nature, a source of endless laughter, smiles and grace. She was the heart and sunshine of our family.
Born and raised in Akron, Mary found joy in her faith and church. A dedicated Catholic to St. Joseph Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Mary also was filled with warmth by people, the sunshine and the Lord.
She will be profoundly missed by her children Barbara Scala, Charles Farr (Lori Farr), her grandchildren Raymond Kirkpatrick (Nicole Kirkpatrick), Heather Kainec (Alan Kainec), Charles Farr, Dylan Farr. And she will meet her husband Charlie Farr in heaven.
We would also like to thank all the staff who took care of Mary at Tamarack Ridge. She loved you all.
Visitation will be from 9-9:45 on Monday February 23, 2026, at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St.
