Mary Lou Fisher

Mary Lou McCall Fisher passed away at home on January 14, 2026 in San Clemente, California. She was born on August 21, 1936 to Allen Glover McCall and May Belle Wilson McCall in Tucson Arizona. In 1942 her parents moved to California and settled in Bellflower where Mary Lou spent her school years and graduated from Bellflower High School in 1953. She was on the yearbook committee, always loved the sun, the beach, and of course, music. After High School she attended BYU but hated the cold so much she begged her mom to come home after just 1 semester!

In 1957 she worked for a German bakery until her friend convinced her to get a job at Metropolitan State Hospital as a psychiatric technician in Norwalk. While in her training class she met Myron R Fisher. They were later married on June 18, 1960. While living in Bellflower, her first daughter Dori Michelle was born in November 1961. Sadly, she later passed away of a brain tumor in 1968.

After Myron got his law degree, they moved their family to West Covina and later to San Clemente where they raised Derek Michael (1965) and Errin Leigh (1967). Mary Lou worked in Myron's law office until they retired. They enjoyed traveling and especially loved their 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 on the way!
