Mary Lou Foster of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away at the Genesis Hospice Morrison-House on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at the age of 67 years old while in the loving presence of her family. She was born in Canton, Ohio on April 20, 1957, the daughter of Arthur Butler and Emmalena Barnett.
She leaves behind two daughters, Bonnie Lynn Johnson and Billie Baxter Johnson, as well as 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her brothers, Dale and Jasper Butler. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her boyfriend, Joseph Eisenhower, and her beloved dogs, Midnight (her all-time baby) and Sophie.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Foster, and her sister, Suzanne Kolz and fur babies, Buddy and Theo.
Mary Lou was a devoted grandmother; she cherished the time that she spent with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing was more important to her than seeing their faces and hearing their laughter. She also took great pleasure in playing Bingo. She will deeply missed by those who knew her, and reverently remembered by those who loved her.
There will be a private gathering for Mary, followed by a graveside service at 1PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Services will be performed by Certified Celebrant, Lindsay Michel. All Arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
