Mary Ann Fox, age 83 of Kirksville, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, MO. She was born April 26, 1942 in Knox City, MO the daughter of Rial Dudley and Helen Marie Smith Rhoades.
She was united in marriage to Dewey Lee Fox in Knox City, MO on December 10, 1960.
Surviving are her husband Lee Fox of Kirksville, MO, three children, Lori (Martin) Hogan of Wyaconda, MO, Kenneth (Carla) Fox of Kirksville, MO and Leslie (Brian) Smith of Kirksville, MO, one sister-in-law Helen Rowlison of Hurdland, MO, seven grandchildren Eric (Katie) Hogan, Ethan (Samantha) Hogan, Jessica (Brady) McMann, John (Jamie) Fox, Jared (Kristen) Fox, Dalton Smith and Brenna Smith, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Phyllis Marie Klataske, one brother Bobby Gene Rhoades, two brothers-in-law Charles Rowlison and Delmar Klataske.
Mary graduated from Knox City High School in 1960. She was a homemaker and farm wife. She and her husband were engaged in farming north of LaBelle, MO. She loved cooking and was a cook for over twenty years at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary will be cremated and memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in
Edina, MO. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Harvey will officiate the services. Burial will be held later in the Hurdland I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
