Mary F Gebhardt, 50, of Necedah, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her home.
She was born on February 28, 1975, to Robert and Sharon (Bacon) Kuehl in Sparta. Mary attended Tomah High School. She was united in marriage to Rodney Gebhardt and to this union a daughter, Victoria, was born. Throughout her life she worked in the dining facility at Fort McCoy, and as an assistant manager for Kwik Trip and the Goodwill in Tomah. She had just started a position at the Necedah Dollar General, which she was looking forward to. She enjoyed playing games on her phone and spending time with her grand puppy, Mia. Mary loved getting together with family and especially enjoyed sharing family baking and cooking recipes. Having a unique and somewhat corky sense of humor, Mary could be shy at times but had the biggest loving, caring and compassionate heart. More than anything she was so very proud of her daughter, Victoria.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria of Tomah, siblings, Michael (Lori) Eckelberg of Frederic, Dan Eckelberg of Monroe, Sherri (Michael) Hedding of Arkansas, Michelle Simerson of Columbus, WI, and Anna (Rollie) Kuehl of DeForrest, and a sister-in-law, Shawn Eckelberg of Tomah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sharon Kuehl, her loving father figure, John Eckelberg, brother, Jeff Eckelberg and a sister-in-law, Carol Eckelberg.
A Graveside Service and Celebration of Life will be announced by the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home at a later date.
