Mary Gibson Obituary
Mary Ellen Gibson passed away December 13, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born April 16, 1947 to the late Robert "RP" Pryor and Frances Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Earl Jackson; grandson, Kurt Raybon.
She is survived by her son, Don (Robin) Perry; daughter, Sherry (Johnny) Raybon; grandchildren, Don (Lola) Perry, III, Dolores (Scott) McRae, Leigh Perry (Ricky), Chelsea (Mason) Davis, Jerry (Melinda) Poe, Chris (Philicia) Poe, A.J. Raybon, Joey Raybon, Kristi Raybon and Atlanta (Philip) Voisard; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Leona Curtis and nephews, Robert Dunkin and Roger Dunkin; several special cousins and a host of friends. Mary was a nanny to Bradley Steward, who Sherry considers a little sister.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Duke officiating. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Poe, Chris Poe, A.J. Raybon, Joey Raybon, Roger Dunkin and Jeff Averette. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Dunkin, Mason Davis and Trent Poe.
