Mary Faye Hannum Glass

Mary Faye Hannum Glass, age 80 of Kennett Square, died Saturday June 21, 2008 at the Kendal Crosslands Community. She was the wife of the late James K. Glass who died in 1999. Born in West Chester, PA she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Martha Rhoads Hannum. She was a 1945 graduate of Kennett High School and a 1949 graduate of Juniata College. Mrs. Glass was very active with the Needlers Club at Crosslands, Wool Gathering of Kennett Square, and the Kennett Friends Meeting. Survivors include one son, Thomas Glass and his wife Lisa of West Grove, two daughters, Patricia Mains and her husband Glenn of Denver, PA., Barbara Howard and her husband Daniel of Bradford, PA., one sister, Martha Potter of Kennett Square, two sister in laws, Mary Hannum and Ruth Bohn and her husband Gilbert all of Venice Florida, a daughter in law, Debra Concklin and her husband Steve of Hockessin DE., and 7 grandchildren. She was pre deceased by a son James R. Glass and a brother Bill Hannum. A memorial service will be held 1PM Friday, June 27, 2008 at Kennett Friends Meeting, North Union and West Sickles Streets Kennett Square, PA and 2:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Crosslands, William Penn Room Rt. 926 Kennett Square, PA.
