September 11, 1944 – January 30, 2026
MARY ALICE GOLIGHTLY entered into the presence of the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2026 after a brief illness.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063 on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1:00pm with time for family to visit afterwards.
Mary was born in Midlothian, Texas in 1944 and lived most of her life in the Midlothian, Mansfield, Morgan and Meridian areas. She married Raymond Golightly on June 12, 1961. Mary worked at various jobs in the Grand Prairie and Mansfield areas but her joy in life was being a mother to her sons and grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary loved time with her family, especially watching old black and white tv shows and the Unashamed podcast by the Robertson Family, and gardening on her porch. Mary was a gifted caregiver, and it showed when she cared for her husband, mother, granddaughter and brother.
Mary was reunited in heaven with her husband, Raymond Golightly, parents Joseph and Ruthie Barcigalupia, brother, John E. Barcigalupia and granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Golightly.
SURVIVORS: Sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sandra Golightly; Michael and Lora Golightly; grandchildren, Samantha Wyman and husband Josh, Michael Golightly and wife Ashley, Megan Cogburn and husband Zach; and Garrett Golightly and wife Olive; great-grandchildren Lily and Emma Wyman, Ryder, Brynleigh, Grayson, Irelynn and Huxyn Golightly, and Callie and Calvin Cogburn; brother James Barcigalupia; sister-in-law and brother-n-law Dorothy and Kenneth Michael; sister-in-law Colene Golightly; and many nieces and nephews.
WORD OF THANKS: The family would like to express their thanks for love, support and care from the doctors, nurses and staff at Glen Rose Medical Center Hospital and Rehab Center and the Alpha Omega Hospice.
