Mary Ruth González, de 69 años, de Perry, falleció pacíficamente rodeada de su esposo, hija e hijo el sábado 18 de octubre de 2025.

El 22 de mayo de 1986, Mary se casó con el amor de su vida, José Arturo González.
Mary dedicó muchos años de servicio al Estado de Iowa, jubilándose en 2019.
Mary valoraba a su familia por encima de todo. Su mayor alegría provenía de pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos y de cuidar sus coloridas flores.
Mary deja atrás a su amado esposo, José Arturo González de Perry; a sus hijos, Josette (Ángel) Caracheo y Jonathan (Vanessa) González; a sus nietos, Angelo Caracheo, Jaeden Caracheo, Ely González, Jago Caracheo, Nathan González, Rosemarie González e Isabella González; así como numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas, familiares extendidos y amigos que la extrañarán profundamente.
Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Yolanda Márquez; su padre, Jesús De La Torre; y sus hermanos, Jesse De La Torre, Joey De La Torre y Consuelo De La Torre.

Mary Ruth Gonzalez, age 69, of Perry, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband, daughter, and son on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m., both at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
On May 22, 1986, Mary married the love of her life, Jose Arturo Gonzalez.
Mary dedicated many years of service to the State of Iowa, retiring in 2019.
Mary cherished her family above all else. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved and tending to her colorful flowers.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Jose Arturo Gonzalez of Perry; her children, Josette (Angel) Caracheo and Jonathan (Vanessa) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Angelo Caracheo, Jaeden Caracheo, Ely Gonzalez, Jago Caracheo, Nathan Gonzalez, Rosemarie Gonzalez, and Isabella Gonzalez; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Yolanda Marquez; father, Jesus De La Torre; and brothers, Jesse De La Torre, Joey De La Torre, and Consuelo De La Torre.
