Mary L. Goodwin, 80, of Canton, passed away on March 26, 2025 at Altercare of Louisville. A lifelong resident of Canton, Mary was born on November 6, 1944 to the late George and Joan {Schweizer} Simpkins.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers George Simpkins Jr. and Lee Simpkins, and step-daughter Debbie Ritthaler.
Mary is survived by her loving children Mary Beth (Ken) Wallace, Tony (Kristine) Morales, Jr. and Jeffery (Georgia) Morales; step-son, Duane (Yvonne) Goodwin; grandchildren Natasha (Scott) Gotto, Eric (Danielle) Wallace, Natalie (Brandon) Dowler, Kenny (Shiann) Wallace, Paul (Emily) Wallace, Kali (Matt) Harple, Seth (Hannah) Morales, Kayla Warner, Mason Warner, Ervin Ritthaler, Matthew (LeAnn) Ritthaler, Devon Ritthaler, Makayla (Colby) King, Tricia Goodwin, Troy (Erin) Martin, Bree (Ben) Roberts and Jared (Ashley) Martin; great-grandchildren Ava, Elise, Christian and Rocco Gotto, Kylie and Kendall Wallace, Parker Currier, Landry Lucas, Brooklynn and Haylee Dowler, Devon, Kenny III and Baylee Wallace, Gavin and Mia Wallace, Luke and Noah Harple, Matthew Jr., Mikayla and McKinley Ritthaler, Ervin Ritthaler Jr., Evyn Ritthaler, Tyler Williams, Elias King and Damon Martin; sisters Peggy (Marlene) Simpkins, Marcia Harriott, Joan Mercer and Beth Ann Grisez.
Mary had a generous, giving heart. If she wasn't trying to feed you, she would help you find home improvement resources! Mary loved music, singing, visiting the lake, and giving creative compliments, especially about your hairdo, your shoes, the wheels on your car, or how clean your windows were.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE Massillon, OH 44646 on Thursday, April 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Kazemi and Pastor Bill Druckenbrod officiating.
