Dear Mary Greschak
When we met in middle school, I admired how you were always yourself-kind, creative, and with a great sense of humor. It´s clear that everyone who knew you felt the same way. I´m grateful we stayed in touch over the years, and I´m deeply saddened to hear of your passing.
Since I learned the news, I keep hearing the song Butterfly by Crazy Town, especially these lyrics: "I don't deserve you, unless it's some kind of hidden message / To show me life is precious." You truly were like a butterfly, and it feels fitting. I hope you're skating in heaven, and for now, we must learn to cherish life more.
Rest in peace, MaryBird. I take comfort in knowing I reached out when I could. Rest easy, girl.
Love, Alissa

I was so very lucky to have you as my neighbor and friend. I will miss seeing you almost everyday and giving you those hugs we both needed. You were always so caring and giving to me and my son.

Through more than 25yrs I've called you my friend and it hurts to know I won't receive a spontaneous call for a vent session again. May your light continue to shine bright everyone who knew you. Until we meet again, Lil Bit, fly high Marybird.
