Mary Lee Gresham

Mary Lee Gresham was born to Elias Dan and Birdie Blanche (Irvin) Gresham on October 31, 1939 and departed this life in Temple, OK on September 10, 2025 at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 10 days.

Mary grew up at Cookietown, attending Union Valley School until transferring to Big Pasture High School for her Junior and Senior years, graduating from BPHS in 1959. She moved from the farm to Walters with her mom and sisters in 1996.

Mary loved going to church and was a longtime active member of Union Valley Baptist Church at Cookietown. She loved Coca Cola, candy, watching TV, and going for walks while out on the farm. She never forgot anything you were supposed to do for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.D. and Blanche Gresham; and two sister, Delores Gresham and Della Gresham.

Survivors include her sister, Norma Steele of Walters; a niece, Kathy Fronimos of Walters; a nephew, Doyle Goss and Karen of Walters; 4 great nieces and nephews, Sherry Dumolien and Craig of Lanexa, KS, Jimmy Fronimos of Faxon, OK, Ralynn Goss of Walters, Lucas Goss and Jennifer of Walters; 11 great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
