Mary P. Guerrero, 83 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026, surround by her loving family. She was born in Robstown, Texas on February 5, 1943 to her parents, Cruz and Marciano Aguilar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco R. Guerrero; her son, Francisco Guerrero III.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Gloria (Ruben) Alaniz of Freer, Texas; Lucinda (Guadalupe R.) Gomez of Alice, Texas; Patricia (George) Paredes of Columbus, Texas; adopted daughter and caregiver, Lena Almendarez of Freer, Texas; daughter-in-law, Patricia Guerrero of Granbury, Texas; one brother, Joe Aguilar of Boerne, Texas; one sister, Elizabeth (Alvardo) Pena of Robstown, Texas; ten grandchildren, Ruben J. Alaniz, Bene A. Alaniz, Dian Ramire, Isaiah Gomez, Tabatha Gomez, Alejandro Trevino, Justin Guerrero, Cody Guerrero, Rebecca Guerrero, Emily Guerrero; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Garza Funeral Home in Freer, Texas with a Memorial Service to be held at 10:00 am that morning. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Anyone wishing to leave condolences for the family may do so at www.garzafuneralhome.com.
