MARY HALL Obituary

MARY HALL 03/05/1943 - 07/11/2025 Mary Frances Pierce was born on March 5, 1943, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Mo., to Roy Owen Pierce and Rachel Ida Kessler. She attended Mark Twain Elementary School and graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City. She married John Linn Hall at Truman Lake (Deepwater, Mo.) on September 20, 2003. They lived in the Independence/Blue Springs area before retiring and eventually living there. Later, they moved to Alamo, Texas and made one last move to Conroe, Texas, so John could get the medical care he needed from MD Anderson. Mary passed away from the effects of a stroke on July 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas, with her loving husband, John, by her side. We find comfort in knowing Mary is now with the Lord and is no longer in pain. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ida Pierce, her sister, Barbara Dietrich, and her brother, George Pierce. Mary is survived by her husband John and her three children - Lori Hopper Valentine, Jeff Hopper and Harley Andrew "Andy" Morris, III (Christina). She also leaves eight grandchildren: Jessica, Ty, Jacob, Jeremy, Kristin, Jered, Lauren and Harley Andrew IV, seven great-grandchildren and her siblings: Nancy Meiron, Raymore, Mo.; Eddie Pierce (Joyce), Conroe, Margie Peart (Larry), Kansas City, Mo.; Sharon Pierce, Independence, Mo.; and Pam Fithen (Kevin), Bates City, Mo., and many nieces and nephews who loved and cared about her.
