I am so sorry to hear of Ms Ham´s passing. She was my Eng/Lit teacher at LMA & was always so patient with our rowdy class (1976 grad). I babysat Eloise & Jay a few times, such sweet children. My condolences to all family members.

I will always remember Mary as a true Southern lady, just like her mom. She was such an eloquent soul. Alzheimer´s is a cruel disease. I lost one sister to it and have another fighting it.blessings on all the family that loved and took care of Mary.

Mr. James, Jay and Eloise,
Your mother was my English teacher in the middle `70´s at LMA. I loved to read and we discussed authors and poets quite frequently. I even had fun times babysitting her two most precious children. Know my prayers are with you all.
Love,
