Mary Hawkins Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 18, 2025.
Mary Elizabeth Hawkins, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Mary was born September 18, 1956, in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late, William & Goldia (Coppack) Hawkins. She retired from Elevate Healthcare.

Mary was known for her love of holidays, especially Christmas, and her love of animals. One of her favorite pastimes was reading but also watching movies. There wasn't a Hallmark movie that she could not tell you about. Mary will be remembered for being fun loving and her sense of humor.

She is survived by her niece and caretaker, Linda Watts; her four legged companion, Leo; and a host of loving friends.

A private Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.

The family asks that memorial contributions in Mary's name be made to the Indy Humane.
