Mary Milford Heriot

Mary Milford Heriot, 89, died Friday, August 2, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Born in Harlem, GA, she was a daughter of the late Horace W. McZilkey and Ethel Mamie Smith McZilkey.
Mrs. Heriot was a retired insurance agent with Southern Risk.
She was twice married, first to the late James Mitchell Milford and later to the late George K. Heriot, Jr.
Surviving are two daughters, Merle Milford Lentz (Timothy) and Tina Milford Cousar; two stepdaughters, Lee Heriot Wilson (Phil) and Frankie Heriot Green (George); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Joseph "Tom" Witherspoon.
She was preceded in death by a son, Victor Milford and a stepson, George K. Heriot, III.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in the Chapel with Rev. Brian Peake officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
