Jhovette was born on November 18, 1954, in Roundup, Montana, to Tom Frank Parish and Betty Jo Cook Parish and passed from this life on October 31, 2025, in Gilmer, Texas.
Jhovette worked as a nurse for many years before her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister, always there for her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Doug Hightree; son, Wylie Brandon Hightree (Emily); sisters, Charlotte McCallum, Belinda Drennan (Larry), and Cindy Stewart (Mark); grandchildren, Jonathan Fuller, Mary Fuller, Adrianna Hightree, and Harrison Hightree; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Misty Fuller.
