Mary Sue (Suni) Hoffman, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 15th, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Suni was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on January 18th, 1931. She is preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Leola Jones Daniels of Little Rock and Jonesboro, her brother Kenneth L. Red Daniels of Jonesboro and Jackson, Mississippi, her husband of 65 years, Bill W. Hoffman and her son, Bill W. Hoffman Jr.
Suni is survived by her son, Randy Hoffman (Pixie) of Oakland, and her daughter, SueAnn Bipper Hoffman of Little Rock, along with two daughters-in-law, Peggy Hoffman of Paron, and Gwen Hoffman of Fayetteville. Suni will be greatly missed by her four granddaughters: Virginia Clauser (Brent) of North Charleston, South Carolina, Alison Ashworth (Billy) of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Price (Nick) of Maumelle, and Melissa Tidwell (Bryon) of Bentonville. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Stella Wininger, Riley Chapman, Gabe Ashworth, Walker Chapman and Ava Ashworth.
Suni retired from the Little Rock School District as a Library Media Specialist, after 17 years of classroom teaching in Pine Bluff and Little Rock. Suni loved to dance, play cards (especially bridge) and enjoyed many years of classes and activities at Life Quest. She played and taught piano, and was an active volunteer and board member of St. Vincent Auxiliary for many years. She was a frequent traveler, to places both in and out of the United States, particularly the Gulf Coast and Europe. Suni's passion for a great piano tune, a good book, and the ocean waves will live on through her family.
Suni's family would like to thank Patience Allday, for the love and kindness she showed as a caregiver over the past 5 years.
"May the road rise up to meet you - May the wind be always at your back - May the sun shine warm upon your face - The rain fall soft upon your fields - And until we meet again - May God hold you in the palm of his hand."
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 1 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park, Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please donate to your favorite charity. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

Hoffman family. Your Mana and Oma had a great life and all of you were part of making it great. I know she will be missed by all of you but oh what wonderful memories you all have of her! I am glad that I have some great memories too. I will always look back fondly at the times Bill, Suni and Bipper came to Dallas for the White Rock Marathon and we got to follow Bill along the route and celebrate afterward! Also the many trips we made to Pine Bluff and Littke Rock and all the fun times the Benton´s had with the Hoffman crew. I love you all! Miki
