Jane A Hoffman

Jane Ann Hoffman, age 90 of Mansfield died Sunday October 19, 2025 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Jane was born March 31, 1935 in Mansfield to the late Clare and Harriet (Ackerman) Richie. She married Robert Hoffman on October 26, 1956 and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2018.
Jane was a 1953 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed the fact that she and Bob were the first couple married at the "new church" at 3rd and Bowman Street. She was a member of the Lamplighters Class and a member of the church choir. During the COVID pandemic, she learned how to attend services online so she would not miss church. Her hobby was collecting Hummel pieces and other figurines. She was very family oriented and enjoyed being involved in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren' s lives. She loved watching soap operas and didn't like to be disturbed during them. After Bob's retirement, they enjoyed spending time eating out and Dairy Queen was her favorite. Even as she was losing her sight, she could tell you how to get to a Dairy Queen.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter: Mark (Deb) Hoffman, Kevin (Diana) Hoffman and Ruth Ann (Derek) Watts, nine grandchildren: Laura (Brett) Kemp, Lindsey (Justin) Collins, Joshua (Kristina) Hoffman, Jordan (Olivia) Hoffman, Michael Hoffman, Victoria (Kevin) Love, Lauren (Logan) Stegman, Hannah Watts and Sarah (Chris) Hesse, nine great-grandchildren and several cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Alexandra Rife.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Mansfield Cemetery. Please check
