Mary Howell Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Howell
was born in Alabama on April 16, 1938 the daughter of the late Ulysses Stewart and Bertha Orene Lewis O'Tinger.
In June of 1981 she was united in marriage to Terry Wayne Howell, who survives.
Mary worked for 22 years at Sprackle Sugar Factory in Kerman, California. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in Corinth, Mississippi. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, working in flowers, and cooking, Mary loved Home Interior products and enjoyed selling their products. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchild.
She departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 2 months, and 15 days.
Mary is survived by her husband Terry of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Paul Allen Sweat of Arizona, Terry Montill Bolinger of Savannah, Tennessee, Mark Duane Sweat of California, and April Leann Simmons of Corinth, Mississippi; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and sisters, Montill Warren of Savannah, Tennessee and Marjorie Giles of Louisiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Scott Sweat and two brothers, Lambeth "Fray" O'Tinger and Jimmy O'Tinger.
