Mary E. Hufford, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, March 31, 2024. Born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on November 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Ellen (Ray) McCamish.
Mary was retired from Jefferson Hospital where she worked as a cook. She loved flowers, especially working in her flower beds and garden. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to go bowling.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph Christopher (Leigh Ann) Hufford of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Kent (Kimberly) Hufford of Fairhope, Ronald Charles (Lorraine) Hufford of Dawson; daughters, Jennifer Ellen Angelo of West Mifflin, Pamela Joan (Jeffrey) Malley of North Versailles, Julia Ann Thornton of Rostraver, Tracie Lynn Herb of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Michael (Alyssa) Hufford, Christopher (Leslie) Hufford, Sean Michael (Katelyn) Angelo, Kyle David (Savannah) Thornton, Michael Scott Thornton, Travis Adam Hufford, Carson Herb, Brody Herb, Kayla Hufford (Neo) Suwanarat, Rhiannon Angelo, Jessica (Khance) Malley and Samantha Thornton; great grandchildren, Alexandria Hufford, Silas Hufford, Stetson Hufford, Sophia Angelo, Logan Angelo, Ariel Suwanarat, Ariana Suwanarat, Axel Hufford, Oliver Hufford and Lillian Hufford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Louis Hufford; and grandson, Chad Everett Angelo.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Church, 801 Broad Avenue, North Belle Vernon with Rev. Michael J. Crookston presiding. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
