Michael J. Lemley

Michael J. Lemley, 75, of Rostraver Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born in Rostraver Township on Dec. 24, 1950. He was the last child of 14 of the late Raymond and Ethel Lemley. Mike was retired from the U.S. Steel Clairton Works and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing, his 1977 Ford Granada, and being the chief mechanic for his son, Mike, who became champion in the Charger Class at Motordrome. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lana (Durka) Lemley; sons, Mike (Shannon) Lemley of Dawson and Gary Lemley of Charleroi; his loving grandkids, twins Jake and Mac Lemley, and his precious Olivia Lemley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Glen, Leonard, Carl, James, and Donald; and sisters, Alberta Bittner, Mary LaSalle, Barbara Krasonic, Lorraine Quintier, Nina Valent, Patty Christner, and infant, Betty Lemley. At Michael's request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Olive Branch Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to JAMES C.
