Mary Ann Ingles, age 74, born December 17, 1950, passed away on September 11, 2025 into the arms of Jesus while surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and sister. She was a devoted follower of Christ, mother to three daughters, Chris, Denisha, and Amy, and sister to her one and only sibling, Virginia White. She was a life-long resident of Albany, Louisiana where she was known by many for her beauty, both inside and out. Mary Ann was an elementary educator, served as church pianist from the age of 14, worked with the WMU (Women's Missionary Union) at her church and in the food pantry, and sang for countless church services where her lovely voice filled the sanctuary with beautiful, heart-felt praise to her Lord. She lived out her life with unwavering faith, and although a quiet woman, she was a warrior for Christ when it came to leading her family to Jesus and anyone else who would listen. During her younger and healthier years, she was a true servant who loved bringing meals to the elderly or sick, visiting nursing homes, and leading the church youth group in praise around the piano at Blood River Baptist Church and later, playing piano at New Life Baptist Church. Her life was truly a journey filled with highs and lows, but through it all, she stood firm in her commitment to Christ and His calling. Mary Ann leaves behind her three daughters, Chris Roberts and husband, Ron, Denisha Devall and husband, Jonathan, Amy Hood and husband, Jason, along with 14 grandchildren, Justin and Samantha Barksdale, Shane and Laikyn Barksdale, Jonathan and Gabriella Barksdale, Rachel and Brian Dickerson, William and Kaylie Devall, Hillary Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, and Mallory Johnson, Lacey Roberts, Erika and Brennan King, Brandt Burns and Holly Mayeux, Jordan and Mikey Doucet, Whitney and Travis Clement. She was blessed to have had 25 great-grandchildren and her best-friend and sister, Virginia, and husband, Charles White. Her daughters would like to give a special thank you to her granddaughter, Erika, for providing the most loving end-of-life care to her grandmother and to her other grandchildren and sister for the many times you helped in the middle of the night or stayed with her to provide the care she needed. Much gratitude is given to her wonderful and compassionate caregivers who provided the best care and companionship during the last year of her life. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 42 years, Tommy Ray Ingles and parents, Calvin and Verlie Raney, and granddaughter, Kayla Roberts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Hwy 190 W.
