Mary Jane Williams Marshall

 

Mrs. Mary Jane Williams Marshall, 67, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at her residence.  She was born May 24, 1956, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Norman “Doc” Williams and Marie Helen Williams.  A member of Bible Revival Ministries, where she had driven the church van.  She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mary loved taking care of her grandkids and going out to eat.  A genuine person who was straight forward, she loved people and enjoyed making them laugh and smile.  She is preceded in death by her father; her husband, Roger Marshall and a sister, Donna Williams Cromer.  Survivors include her two sons, David Marshall of Kernersville and Eric Kirkman (Leslie) of Kernersville; her mother, Marie Helen Williams of Walnut Cove; a sister, Pat Ann Cash of Kernersville; five grandchildren, Brittany Marshall, Heather Marshall, Ethan Kirkman, Colin Kirkman and Lee Marshall; her longtime friend, Bob Sutherland and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Donna Daniel officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home before the service.
