Mary Jane P. Valle

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Jane P. Valle born on September 3, 1933. Was called home to be with our Lord on September 28, 2025, at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her husband Martin R. Valle of 53 years, her parents Ignacio Perez and Juanita V. Perez, her sister Irene P. Saenz and her brother Ignacio V. Perez Jr. Survived by her sister Victoria Martinez and brother Jose V. Perez. Left to cherish her memories are her six daughters: Diana Travieso (Roberto ), Ruby Alderete (Jesse ), Sylvia Bechtel (Daniel), Janet Carrizales (Robert), JoAnn Castillo (Richard), Mary Jane Casas (Nicolas Zapata). She leaves behind a legacy of seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren who were blessed to love and know her. Mary Jane lived a life of a devoted catholic. She was a shining example of strength to always put family first. As a woman of daughters, Mom encouraged us to be strong educated independent women. Mary Jane loved to cook, dance, listen to music, cheering on her Spurs. Mom loved to dress to impress in her classy outfits with heels, matching purses, jewelry, and let's not forget her perfume scent of Obsession and Tabu. We would like to acknowledge and thank the administration and staff at Legend Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Holy Savior (Hospice) team who provided comfort and support in her final days. Last, many thanks to my mother's roommate at Legend Oaks, Mary Jane Saldivar who was our eyes and ears when we were not there. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and resting in the arms of her Savior.
