Irma D. Valle was called home to our Lord on November 15, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 92, where she entered into eternal rest in the loving embrace of God.

Born on June 18, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas, at her childhood home. Irma's life was rooted in faith, family, and the beautiful traditions of her Mexican heritage.

On September 11, 1965, she married her beloved husband, Hilario Sr., in a union blessed by God. Together they welcomed their children, Martin and Hilario Jr., and she dedicated her life to caring for her family with patience, strength, and unwavering love.

Irma served her community with joy and humility through her work at SAISD as a lunch lady, taking pride in feeding and caring for the children of her school. Her heart, however found its greatest purpose and came from her years of service to her parish, Saint Philip of Jesus Catholic Church, just down the street from her home. There, she lived out her faith and devotion daily as a proud Guadalupana, honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, and as a member of the Altar Society, helping to maintain the beauty and reverence of God's house.

She was affectionately known as the matriarch of her family-a woman whose life was filled with faith, warmth, and joy. She treasured moments spent listening to music, dancing, playing lotería, family BBQs, and the unity she cherished so deeply. She taught her loved ones the importance of gratitude, faith, and staying close as a family.

Irma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hilario R. Valle, Sr.; her parents, Victor and Petra Dimas; her son, Hilario D. Valle, Jr.; and her siblings Amparo, Olga, Victor, Robert, Raymond and her sibling-in-laws Fernando, Alicia, Simona, Minnie and Irma. We find comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with them in God's eternal kingdom.

She is survived by her son Martin A. Valle who cared for her in her final years. She is also survived by her siblings Rosa (Rene), Nix, Raul, Joe, Ruben (Adela), Bill, and Carlos and her sister-in-law Eileen.

She is additionally survived by her granddaughters Vanessa, Natalie, and Kymberly (Victor); her great-grandchildren Mikaela, Drayden, Jayden, and Bella; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones whose lives were touched by her.

Irma lived a life of deep reverence, kindness, and faith. Her legacy will continue through the lives she touched, and we rejoice in the promise that she now rests in the peace of Christ. She was loved by all and will be profoundly missed.

"The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him." -Nahum 1:7
