Mary Lee Johnson, 80, passed away on October 30, 2024, at Caraday Nursing Home in Lampasas, Texas. She was born on October 13, 1944, in Brady, TX to Carl and Eloise (Marsden) Hanson.
Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11 am with a visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mary grew up in Lampasas, TX. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1963. She married Curtis Johnson in 1963 in Lampasas, TX and they were happily married for 61 years. Mary enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Glen Hanson.
Mary is survived by her spouse, Curtis of Lampasas; her son, Andy (Celeste) Johnson of Lampasas; her daughter, Bernece Johnson of Killeen; her grandchildren, Sloane (Michael) Cornish and Lacy (Chris) Norman; her great-grandchildren, Emberlinn and Corbinn Johnson and her nieces, nephews and other relatives.
