Funeral Services for Mary Johnson, age 90, of Enid, OK, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Todd Ging officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mary was born on September 5, 1934, in Bouse Junction, Oklahoma, to Curtis and Geraldene Long, and passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, surrounded by her family, in the home they built together. She attended school in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Mary, and the love of her life LeeRoy Johnson, were married on July 20, 1956, in Enid.
Mary worked at Southwestern Bell, beginning in 1953, and retired in 1985. Mary volunteered at Loaves and Fishes from 2015 to 2024. Following her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren’s sports activities, as well as taking them camping at the lake, brought her much joy. She also loved to watch Jeopardy and college sports, especially the OU Sooners.
Mary is preceded in death by Curtis and Geraldene Long; husband LeeRoy Johnson; granddaughter Brooke Tefft; sister Margie Jernigan; and brother Gerald Long. She is survived by two children, Colette Tefft and husband Eldon, Teresa Dugger and husband Chris; three siblings, Wayne Long and his wife Alicia, Joyce Nickel and husband Dean, Twila Young, and sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson.
Mary was blessed with six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren who remain to cherish her memory; Brandie Wingo and husband Billy, Chad Tefft and wife Alisa, Derreck Tefft and wife Kendra, Ashley Albright and husband Ryan; Chelsie Mendoza, and Colby Dugger and wife Camila. Mary’s great-grandchildren are Dylan Tefft and wife Tiarra, Payton Wingo and wife Peyton, Lauren Tefft and fiancé Brandon, Dakota Wingo and Diamond, Caden Tefft, Blayne Tefft, Ava Albright, Cole Albright, Kristian Tefft, Harper Tefft, Matthew, Reyna, Elena, and Brisa Mendoza; and great-great-grandchildren, Brooks and London Tefft.
Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Loaves and Fishes with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
