Mary Joiner Obituary
Mrs. Mary Florence Clark Joiner, 85, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00AM until service time. Burial will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Joiner was born April 19, 1939 in Albany, GA to Edward A., Jr. and Mary Lee Snider Clark. She was a member of Oasis Church of Christ. Mrs. Joiner enjoyed sewing and talking to her family on the phone. She loved cooking and serving others, especially around Christmas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. “Buster” Joiner, Jr., a brother, Charles E. Clark and a sister, Sara Huey.
Survivors include her children, George E. Joiner and his wife, Jo Ann of Perry, GA, Karen Jones and her husband, Dennis of Ellaville, GA and Kimberly Attaberry and her husband, Griffin of Monticello, GA; five grandchildren, Braxton Jones (Savana), Jeb Jones (Katie), Rebecca Joiner, Rachel Joiner, and Rory Attaberry; three great-grandchildren, Forrest Jones, Woodson Jones, and Ella Jones; two brothers-in-law, Frank Joiner (Carolyn) and Lee Joiner; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Raintree Village Children’s Home at https://raintreevillage.org/donations/
