Mary Jane Jurek

Devoted wife of Leonard, for 56 years; Loving mother of Laura (Michael) Howley, Lisa (Bryan) Walczak, and the late Peter Jurek; Proud Nana of Katelyn, Megan, Danny, Luke, and Sarah; Beloved sister of the late Tony (late Palma) Yozze, late Elizabeth (late Dominick) Altimare, late Sam (Irene) Yozze, and the late Gene (late Geri) Yozze; Cherished sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many; To know her was to love her. Known for her kindness and patience, Mary Jane worked as a personal banker for over 20 years. She was deeply loved by her customers, as they considered her a friend. After retirement she volunteered as an English tutor at Corazan a Corazan, where she was honored in Springfield with a Spotlight on Service award. Her greatest love was for her family, who she always put first. There is comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her son, parents, and siblings that have gone before her. We thank her loving and faithful nurse Jennifer, and all of her caregivers and staff at Smith Village for the amazing love and care she and Len have received.
