Mary Rose Kellen, 87, of Dixon, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Heritage Square, Dixon. She worked as a bookkeeper for Marshall Beauty Supply for many years, prior to her retirement.
Mary was born, November 13, 1935, in Harmon, the daughter of Walter and Ida (Gerdes) Levan. She married Joseph Kellen on December 19, 1953, in Dixon. Mary was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dixon. Mary enjoyed working in her yard, playing cards, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph Kellen of Dixon; two children, Linda (Dean) Loescher of Dixon, Jim (Loretta) Kellen of Dixon; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Kathleen) Loescher, Jason (Kathryn) Loescher, Joseph (Angelia) Loescher; and two great-grandchildren, Silja, and Gretchen.
Mary was preceded in death by parents; four brothers, George Levan, Wayne Levan, Edwin Levan and Edward Levan.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of funeral service at noon on August 23, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon, with Rev. Mark Juliot, officiating. Private family burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon.
