Mary Ann Koch

Mary Ann Koch, 70, of Freemansburg, PA died peacefully Wednesday, November 5, 2025 surrounded by her family at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus. She was the wife of Frank W. Koch with whom she celebrated 47 years of marriage on July 14, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Richard Z. and Sophie (Wojtkowsky) Childs. She was a 1974 graduate of Dieruff High School. Mary Ann was blessed to be able to stay at home to raise her three beautiful daughters. She also had the enjoyment of spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her world. Mary Ann was a faithful member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bethlehem, PA.
Survivors: Husband; daughters, Bridget M. Koch of Bethlehem, Rachel A. Amador and her husband Carlos M. Amador of Freemansburg; brother, Richard Childs of FL; sisters, Bernie Childs of Allentown, PA, Carolyn White and her husband Edward of Cape May, NJ; grandchildren, Frankie Rapolla and his wife Chelsea, Devin Amador, Jocelyn Amador; great grandchildren, Leonardo Rapolla and Michael Rapolla; nieces; nephews; cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Michele L. Koch; brother, Joseph E. Childs and sister, Annie Childs.
Service: Funeral Mass 11:00AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1817 1st Street, Bethlehem. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:00AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Please record a memory at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Interment will be private at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
