Long ago, but remembered.

From the first time I heard Mary Anne speak in Chautauqua County to her last talk with her Albany staff, she was inspirational. She spoke from her heart.

She sincerely cared about people. She listened carefully to each person with whom she met and understood the problem or issue of concern. She moved to action ...and accomplished great things often known only by her staff and the people in need.

As a leader she was both incredibly courageous and strong, yet warm and loving...and not afraid to show all of these characteristics. Mary Anne was an energy for good all the days of her life.

I will always remember her vibrant, welcoming, beautiful smile and generous nature. She seemed to me both powerful and kind, energetic, passionate and patient. So grateful to have been in her company.
