Mary Kaye Laban

Sympathy to her family

MaryKaye Laban was my birthday sister (March 4) and special friend from her days working in my parent's shoe store, Mickey's. She and daughter Betsy became family. If angels exist, then MaryKaye surely was here on earth. Her loving friendship and devotion to the Lipson family (especially to Mickey and Celia in their final years) and to Congregation Beth Israel will be long remembered. Condolences to her wonderful family and to all her friends who will be saddened by her passing.

I feel so blessed to have been able to call Mary Kaye my friend. She graced our Sabbath table on many occasions. She was a dear, sweet, wonderful person, and the world is poorer for her loss. I will miss her very much.

Mary Kaye was the sister I never had. She was kind,loving,fun, and the family historian. I will miss her .Shuler
