Mary Margaret Lambert, 97, formerly of Moline, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at Davenport Lutheran Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline with visitation one hour prior to service at church in the St. Damien Center. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Church.
Mary was born August 24, 1928 in Rock Island, the daughter of Alojzy and Mabel (Hume) Mosinski. She married Richard H. Lambert on February 8, 1947 at Sacred Heart Church in Moline. They enjoyed over 63 years of marriage before he passed away on November 11, 2010.
Mary was a past president of the Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society, a team member of the RCIA Program and a lector at mass and was an accomplished seamstress.
Survivors and (Spouses) include her daughters, Judith Kay (William) Burghgrave, Normal, Ill., Jean Leigh Weisbrook, Houston, Texas, Joan Marie (Kenneth) Caes, Marengo, Iowa; grandchildren, Kerri (Eric) Holmquist, Kimberly (Ben) Myers, Kelly (Michael) Lanahan, Jeffery Burghgrave, Brad Weisbrook, DVM, Gregory Weisbrook, Matthew (Sherri) Caes, Jennifer (Gavin) Cronin, Alicia (Kirk) Brecht and Dominic Caes; Brianna Flynn; great-grandchildren, Kylie Holmquist, Robyn Holmquist, Grace Myers, Joey, Jacob and Addison Lanahan, Liam, Owen, Andrew and Amelia Caes; sister, Ruth Ann Sohlberg, Bettendorf; granddaughter-in-law, Krista Caes; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Caes and her sister, Bonnie Joan Chickris.
