Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Mary Pearl Lancaster, 82, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. Born on June 1, 1943, in Moss, Tennessee to the late Carlos Green and Lucille Green (Lancaster), Mary was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Mary dedicated her life to her family. Her kitchen was filled the aroma of home-cooked meals, and no one left her table hungry. She found her greatest joy was nurturing her loved ones and always made sure everyone had a warm and loving hug. She was known as the Avon lady for approximately 20 years. She enjoyed watching old westerns. Above all, her life was guided by her faith, and she found strength and comfort in her bible. She attended Hartville Church of Christ and leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lancaster in 2014; son, Gary Lancaster; her parents; one brother and one sister. She is survived by her devoted children; Donna (Bill) Foster and Tony (Kim,) Lancaster. She was the cherished grandmother to Bill (Jen) Foster, Scott (Nicole) Foster, Krystel (Brian) Robson, and Jacob Lancaster; and a proud great-grandmother to Chloe, Madelyn, and Violet, all who were the light of her world. She also leaves behind sisters, Sylvia Chapman, Ellen Craig, Ora Lou (Roger) West, Donetta Thompson, and Deanie (Junior) Qualls, brothers, Eddie and Alvis Green.
