Mary T Leddy, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, after a courageous, four-year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family in her final days. Born on October 27, 1966, in Dorchester, Mary was known for her hardworking spirit, deep compassion, and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated her life to providing for her loved ones and nurturing a home filled with warmth, laughter, and care. She never missed an opportunity to share her hard-won wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love with family and friends. Mary touched the lives of many through her compassion, kindness, and strength. She faced life’s challenges with resilience and grace, leaving an example of perseverance and fierce love that will live on among all who knew her.
Loving Mother of Andrea Leddy and her fiancé Sean Mulkerrins,of Quincy. Devoted grandmother of Lyla Florentine, Cora Mulkerrins, and Asher Mulkerrins. Cherished sister of Chuck Leddy and his wife Darci Cassidy of Quincy, Barbara Bonigli and her husband Ronnie Bonigli of Braintree, and Rose Leddy of Brookfield. Loving aunt of Ashley and Katie Bonigli, Cole and Faith Leddy, Christina and Pat Kelley, and many more. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Barbara (Kelly) Leddy.
The family wishes to thank the team at Beth Isreal and Old Colony Hospice for their care and compassion in her time of need.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours at Keohane's Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Quincy. on Wednesday, October 1 from 4-8pm. A celebration of life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 2nd at 9:30am prior to the Funeral Mass at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10:30. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary Leddy to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284- 9168.
