Mary Elizabeth Ledoschuk
Age 64 of Newark
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 5,2025.
Beth was born in Wilmington to the late Edward and Eleanor (Curren) Martin. She cherished her youth growing up with her siblings in the Delaware and southern Pennsylvania region and was a proud 1978 graduate of Chichester High School.
Beth traveled for several years after graduating from high school, landing in Washington state. While there she met the love of her life, Douglas Ledoschuk. They were married on February 12, 1988. Eventually work and family brought her back to Delaware in 1997. She was employed at Lear, a branch of Chrysler, until their closure. In her retirement she helped to care for her grandchildren, Austin and Mason, until they entered school. Not one to sit idle, Beth went back to work for Zingo's Grocer, where she made many dear friends.
Beth loved the beach and made many early morning trips just to watch the sunrise. She liked to unwind by watching TV and always laughed at the Big Bang Theory and Friends no matter how many times she saw an episode. Beth was the ultimate supporter of her family. She cherished her relationships with her siblings who she referred to as best friends and was the loudest cheerleader for her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Martin and David Martin (Renee), and her brother-in-law, Tony Katrowski.
Beth is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Ledoschuk; her children, Michael Martin, Eric Ledoschuk (Lauren) and Tonya Weiss (Brandon); and her 3 grandchildren, Austin, Mason, and Jaylynn. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael Martin (Elizabeth) and Anne Marie Katrowski, as well as a large loving extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Friday, May 23 from 10:00am-11:00. Service and burial will be held privately for the immediate family.
