Mary Margaret Lopez, age 82, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Geneva General Hospital. Family and Friends are invited to a Visitation on Saturday, (April 6), from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard Street, Seneca Falls. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Father Jim Fennessy will officiate.

Donations in memory of Mary may be directed to the Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark NY 14513 or to The House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs NY 14432.

Mary was born in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Laura (Dundas) Leonard. Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband, Joseph, whether it be to New York City, New Orleans or a trip to the casino. She enjoyed shopping at all of the local shops with her sister Lynne. She was an immaculate housekeeper, and was always sure to have her house decorated for the season. She was an avid reader and loved playing all types of card games with her family. Above all, family was always most important to Mary.

Mary is survived by her nephews, Richard (Mary Lou) McMillen of Newark, Douglas (Francine) McMillen of Seneca Falls; great-niece MacKenzie (William Pirnie) McMillen of Auburn; sister-in-laws Carolyn Hlywa of Seneca Falls, Susan Lopez of Seneca Falls; brother-in-laws John Lopez of Florida, Eugene (Sandra) Lopez of Seneca Falls, Robert (Linda) Lopez of Louisiana; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph; sister and brother-in-law Lynne and Larry McMillen; brother-in-laws Edward Lopez and Andrew Hlywa.
