Mary Likovic Obituary
Mary's greatest source of pride was her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Frank Likovic, with whom she built a life rooted in love, laughter, and the joy of raising their six children. She cherished her 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, delighting in every visit, phone call, and shared family story. Mary had a special gift for hospitality; no one ever left her home without a full stomach and the sense that they were truly welcome.
Her faith sustained her throughout her life. She rarely missed an opportunity to watch Rev. Charles Stanley each week, finding comfort and guidance in his messages. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed reading (especially before her eyesight began to fade) and working on puzzle books. Mary also had a lifelong fondness for polka music that always lifted her spirits.
Mary is survived by her loving children: Christine Fortuna, Frank Likovic (Loida), Dorothy (John) Albrecht, Paul Likovic, John (Ana) Likovic, and Laura (Ernie) Didea. She was a cherished grandmother to: Matthew (Julie), Amanda (Scott), Frank, Jessica (Shayne), Catie, Joe (Lisa), Nathan, Josh, Tim, Eric, Gabby (Devin), Beth, Jacob, Justin, and Josiah. She was a proud great-grandmother to: Jeffrey, Myah, Makayla, Madalynn, Joseph, Olivia, Mila, and Vinny.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Likovic, her granddaughter, Nicole, and her siblings, Bob, Nancy, and Ronnie.
Mary's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
Donations in her honor can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
