Mary O. Lipphardt, 78, of Camden, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Bethany Gardens in Rome. She was born in Rome on December 17, 1945, a daughter of the late James and Wilhelma (Haggerty) Darling.
Mary was the Camden social butterfly, always out walking about town, saying hello and stopping to have coffee with folks.
She is survived by a daughter, Clista Croad (Patrick); three sons, Robert Lipphardt (Tessie), Timothy Metott (Sherry) and Michael White; a sister, Jane White; two brothers, James Darling and Frank Darling (Connie); nine grandchildren, Josh Carpenter, Monika Underwood, Tiffany Lashen (Todd), Sandra Croad, Patrick Croad, Jr., Timmy Lipphardt, Andrew Joyce, Trevor Metott and Starr Marrietta; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Camden. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY 13316, on Sunday, February 11th, from 12-2:00 p.m.
