Mary MacLachlan Obituary
Mary Olszyk MacLachlan, 101, of New Haven passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, at Mary Wade Home. She was the wife of the late William MacLachlan. Mary was born in New Haven on January 22, 1922, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Kucharska Olszyk. She was the mother of the late Michael MacLachlan and Stanley MacLachlan. Grandmother of Lisa MacLachlan. Sister of Genevieve Tomaszek and the late Frances Talarczyk, Lillian, Stanley, John, Henry, and Adam Olszyk. Mary is also survived by her daughter-in-law Carol MacLachlan Morris.
Family and friends may visit Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 in the Lupinski Funeral Home, Inc. 821 State Street, New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405. Some of my best childhood memories are of sitting on Mary´s porch on Orange Street with my friends Denise, Henry, and Mark. Mary was so kind and cheerful. She always had something nice to say. Mary was a big part of what made that neighborhood special. I will remember her fondly. My sincere condolences to her family.
