On Monday, May 19th, we lost a very special person, Mary Anne Maggart. Mary was a dear friend, a gentle soul, and a heart full of joy, laughter, and love.
If you knew her, you know she was incredibly creative. Whether through crafts, decorations, or just the way she made people feel seen and special, Mary put love and imagination into everything she did. She had a way of making the ordinary feel magical. She never needed nor wanted the spotlight.
Mary was caring. She remembered birthdays, checked in when it mattered, and gave from the heart with no expectation of return. She was the kind of friend who listened, who encouraged, who loved without condition. You always left her presence feeling a little more grounded, a little more hopeful, a little more loved.
She loved Mickey Mouse, and Snoopy. And in a way, both captured different parts of her spirit-Mickey, with his cheerful optimism, and Snoopy, with his quiet imagination and deep heart.
She loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and country music. She especially loved Buddy Jewell, Chris Young, and Vince Gill.
But most of all she loved her family and friends some of whom became her family as well.
It's difficult to imagine the world without her. We miss you deeply, Mary Anne. But we are so grateful for the time we had with you, and we will carry your spirit in our hearts always.
Clinton Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with arrangements for the Maggart family. We welcome you to share your thoughts and memories of Mary on our Memory Wall.
