Mary Emily Marlow

Mary Emily Marlow, age 85 of Waco, Georgia, passed away at a local healthcare facility on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on June 5, 1938, daughter of the late Reverend George W. and Mary Lou Entrekin Marlow. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Marie Lepard; brother, Ray Marlow; nieces, Cynthia Gann and Charity Dawn Freeman; brothers-in-law, Jerry Wright and Ronald Lepard; and a sister-in-law, Irene Marlow.
After graduating high school as the 1957 Valedictorian, she started a career with Ray Sewell Company and worked there over fifty years before retiring. Emily loved her Lord, her church and her family. She was a servant and helper to others. She was a second mother to her siblings and second grandmother to her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed keeping her yard and garden.
Survivors include her sisters, Linda (Wayne, Sr.) Freeman of Bowdon, Sara (Kenneth) Tuggle of Carrollton and JoAnn Wright of Alabama; and brothers, Willard (Shelia) Marlow of Mt. Zion, G.W. (Linda) Marlow of Alabama, Okie Marlow of Tallapoosa and Terry Marlow of Bremen.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Grace at Five Points Church.
Services will be Saturday, May 4, at 2:00 pm from Grace at Five points Church with Brother Terry Holder officiating and Mrs. Shelia Marlow serving as music director. Conrad Bishop, Wayne Freeman, Jr., Mark Marlow, Keagan Marlow, Len Wright, Blenton Marlow, Shoan Marlow and Calvin Marlow will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow immediately at Five Points Cemetery with Reverend David McPherson officiating.
