Mary Martocci

Mary Josephine Martocci, 93, of Center Valley, formerly of Roseto, passed away on March 3rd, 2026 at Sacred Heart Senior Living Community, Saucon Valley. Born April 30, 1932 in Roseto, PA, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. and Concetta (Basso) Martocci. She graduated from Roseto Columbus Grade School, Bangor High School, and Churchman Business College, Easton. She is survived by her brother Anthony P. Martocci and his wife Mary A. of Bethlehem, as well as 4 nieces, 7 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Mary worked most of her life in the garment industry, primarily with J & B Sportswear, Maria Rose Fashions, and Majestic Sportswear, all located in the Bangor area. She loved to cook, favoring recipes passed down from generation to generation. She also enjoyed traveling with her sister, especially Caribbean cruises and trips to Italy. Her strong Christian faith led her to be a very active volunteer at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (OLMC), Roseto most of her life. She was involved in the Holy Angels Sodality, Children of Mary Sodality, St Theresa Sodality, Order of Carmelites, and the 'Big Time' Celebration Committee. Mary also sang in the choir and assisted with the publication of OLMC's weekly bulletin. She joined Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary (Colesville) parish in 2015.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, March 28th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM all at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, (Colesville) Bethlehem, 18015. Private interment will be later at Mt. Carmel New Cemetery in Roseto. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem. More info @www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
