Mary Rudy McLean was born in Roosevelt, Utah on August 24, 1939 to Czar Felix Rudy and Margeret Miles Rudy. She died October 18, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She grew up in Roosevelt, Utah and met her husband Max in Vernal at a dance. They were married July 9, 1971 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.
They have five children Jeffrey (Diane) McLean, David (Marilee)McLean, Donna McLean, Robert (Bonnie) McLean, Joseph McLean and grandchildren; Shaylee Richens and Oaklee, Shyenne McLean and Bryleigh, whom she and Max helped raise.
She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was a Scout Leader and Relief Society President.
Mary taught special needs children in Lapoint for several years. After she retired, she loved spending time in her yard and working at the temple.
She is preceded in death by her husband Max, parents, brothers and sisters a granddaughter and two babies.
She has survived by her daughter and four sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Maeser 3rd Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 and Monday 1 hour prior to service.
Interment will take place in the Rock Point Cemetery under the Direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
