Mary Patricia "Pat" McGee McMahon, aged 94, died peacefully December 9, 2025, at Baywind Village in League City, TX. Pat resided in Clear Lake City, Houston, since 1975.

Pat was born May 23, 1931, in Lackawanna, NY to her parents, Ruth Crosta and Patrick McGee. She attended Our Lady of Victory School before earning her education degree from Buffalo State College. Pat married John "Jack" Joseph McMahon August 16, 1952, at Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna.

Homemaker and devoted mother of eight children, Pat also taught at several schools, including Sacred Heart Catholic in Jacksonville, FL and St. Bernadette's Catholic in Houston. An accomplished artist, she set up her own art studio and taught classes in her home. Well-traveled and adventurous, she explored 39 countries and every USA state except North Dakota.

A devout Catholic, Pat was in a Faith Circle at Lady of Fatima in Huntington, WV. Circle members raised money for charitable causes. As the Youth Leader at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville, she started girls' sport teams before Title 9 and served as president the Women's Guild. An active member of St. Bernadette's, Pat devoted her time and energy in many ways, including participation in Helping Hands and The Widow's Club.

Pat was preceded in death by Jack, her husband of almost 44 years; their beloved son Michael; her parents; and her brother, Paul Patrick McGee. She is survived by her children: Patrick (Cheri), Capt. Maureen Hogan USN (Col. John USMC), Mary Linn (Frank), John (Bernadette), Andrew (Marcia), David (Laurel), and Matthew (Amy); 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren); and two nephews, Patrick and Michael McGee.

Our mother made everyone feel a welcomed part of the McMahon Family. Her memory is alive in the hearts of all who loved her. Surely, she is now soaring with angels and showing the stars how to shine.

Friends and family will remember Pat at a Funeral Service for her intention at St Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, TX 77062, on Friday, December 12 th at 8:30 am. A reception will follow at the Church Life Center. Her Funeral Mass will take place at the Cathedral Basilica, 38 Cathedral PL, St Augustine, FL 32084, with a date and time TBD. A burial service will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery, 1635 US 1 South, St Augustine. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity and offer a special prayer for Pat and her loving family.
